Nouran Shaker is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
She holds a Master’s degree in Special Education from Qatar University and studied Applied Behavior Analysis at Florida Institute of Technology.
Starting her career as a mainstream teacher she quickly established her passion to support children with special needs and became a Special Education (SPED) teacher. As a SPED teacher her goal was to facilitate the education of pupils with disabilities by assessing their abilities and learning requirements to be able to design Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) which would serve as a roadmap for the most effective learning environment for each child.
Further in her career as a Special education needs coordinator ( SENCO ) she worked on closely collaborating with parents and school staff to track students’ progress, to ensure the most beneficial learning experience possible.
To further fuel her passion, she progressed to teaching autistic children at a specialized school for Autism before moving to Egypt and founding her own ABA center named Momentum for behavioral services.
